I have a brother and a home in Shillong thanks to Daniel Syiem, the founder and lead designer at DS Ethnic Fashion House.
It was an honour to serve on the judging panel alongside Daniel at the Hult Prize campus round, which was hosted by the Hult Club of Indian Institute of Management, Shillong .
“Redesigning Fashion” was the theme for this year.
And Daniel is perhaps the most relevant judge I could have asked for while representing Hyphen SCS at the event.
Since 2011, his popular brand DSEFH has been redesigning and redefining fashion globally by protecting and reviving traditional fabrics and promoting their use by innovating them into modern, contemporary, and international designs.
