🚚Strengthening India’s Supply Chain Backbone –One Discussion at a Time 🇮🇳
On June 27th, I had the privilege of joining esteemed industry leaders at the 3rd Committee Meeting of the FICCI Committee on Logistics — a focused gathering of minds committed to reimagining and reinforcing the logistics and supply chain ecosystem of India.

With insightful opening remarks by:

🔹 Mr. Rizwan S. – Chairman, FICCI Committee on Logistics & CEO & MD (India Subcontinent, ME & Africa), DP World

🔹 Mr. Anil Syal – Co-Chairman, President, Safexpress Private Limited

🔹 Ms. Pali Tripathi – Co-Chairperson, CEO, Taabi Mobility Limited

The discussions reflected the Committee’s proactive, policy-driven approach in shaping India’s logistics future.

🔹 Air Freight Policy recommendations – championed by Mr. Vipin Vohra , Chairman – Continental Carriers PVT LTD

🔹 A Policy Brief on ESG and Sustainability – led by Ms. Devi Jessie Mary James Melchior , K-Indev Logistics

Hyphen SCS own contribution:
Presenting a draft Model Warehousing Policy aimed at enabling uniformity, efficiency, and digitization across warehousing in India.

We also explored pressing sectoral concerns:
✅ How to reduce logistics costs
✅ Enhancing multimodal infrastructure & connectivity
✅ Developing a robust Multimodal Logistics Park (MMLP) framework
✅ Strengthening cold chain & export logistics in regions like the Northeast

FICCI continues to play a pivotal role in bringing stakeholders together — not just to diagnose industry challenges, but to build actionable roadmaps toward India’s vision of becoming a global logistics hub.

📍Looking ahead, the Committee is gearing up for the National Warehousing & Cold Chain Summit this November — another key milestone in this journey.
