Hallucinating Evil : A poem by Arun Pandit
Once upon a time there was a guy
Who used to proclaim that ” I will not cry ” !
No matter how tough the situations came by …
He never used to give up … He never used to sigh …
Unfortunately , A series of heartbreaks engulfed his life …
One failure after another with the speed of light …
Each blow more lethal than the one that had passed by …
His every effort had gone waste .. His life was left with a bitter taste …
He started to lose his faith … And his motivation had gone dry …
He helplessly gave up … And he eventually started to cry …
He went so powerless and exhausted that its hard to describe …
As if he was brain washed or probably paralysed ..
He tried hard to remember his might but so intense was his fright …
The more he tried to come out of the quicksand the deeper he got inside …
Everything negative got magnified …. Everything positive had subside ..
As if living a nightmare that he had to only die to get by …
Even hell seemed a better place to switch places by …
As if stuck in a black hole gripped by an Anaconda …
Who is destined to leave him only if he surrendered his soul & gave up his worthless life …
He became so weak that he seemed to have lost his voice …
Whenever he tried to speak the words didn’t flow by …
Whenever he tried to move there was no sign of movement ..
Like a statue with life … Left with his eyes wide open only to witness his fears come alive …
In similar situations most of the ordinary people would have succumbed & died …
But somewhere deep within his soul … there was some hope that was still alive …
He could not give up the fight …
He gave up the thought of dying … He gave up the thought of crying …
He knew he had a heart of soldier and to this fact there was no denying …
Fail … Fall… Cry … Even die trying …
Success was the only god damn prize he was eying
His weakness would kneel in front of his very own eyes …
Against his strong will even God would have to give up his testing times ..
Although he has a lot of fear lurking in his mind …
His sleep is full of nightmares and his days are full of fright …
Hallucinating evil is a part of his life … not masters of his life …
No matter how dark , long and weary this night …
Sooner or later the sun shines …
Good Prevails … And the evil dies …
No matter what …
Dont Give up this fight !!
Alright ! Alright ! Alright !
