Day 1 of Slingshot 2025 at Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) – and the very first person I meet is one of the senior-most IIFTians (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) in Singapore ( IIFT Alumni Association Singapore ) and a true veteran in global trade and supply chain, V B Kasi Sir.
It was an absolute pleasure meeting him, hearing his insights, and learning from his vast experience that spans over three decades of international commodity trade, price forecasting, and supply chain management.
Sir’s journey — from working with some of the world’s largest European food conglomerates to advising leading Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern enterprises on commodity risk management and food security — is truly inspiring.
