Simon Sinek said, “A leader, first and foremost, is human.
Only when we have the strength to show our vulnerability can we truly lead.”

Thank you, Dr. Alika Lafontaine , President, Canadian Medical Association and an award-winning physician, social innovator, and the first Indigenous physician to lead the Canadian Medical Association in its 155 year history
for sharing your extremely personal, emotional, and inspirational story during your session “What Brought Us Here Won’t Take Us There” at the CSC2023 – The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conference – Canada 2023 .

Your life story and leadership lessons from your professional experience has left a profound impact in my journey of becoming a better leader at Hyphen SCS.
