Filifilia, the Programme Management Specialist (National Coordinator) for the UNDP Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (SGP) based in Apia, Samoa, is truly an inspiring individual with a remarkable journey.
🌟 Filifilia Iosefa, a dedicated professional, has been serving as the Sub-Regional Coordinator for SGP since October 2016.
His commitment to making a positive impact is evident in his educational background, with a BA in Economics/Management and an MBA from the University of the South Pacific in Suva, Fiji.
He also completed the UNDP VDA (Virtual Development Academy) Professional Level Curriculum course with distinction.
🌍 Filifilia’s passion for development and program management is truly commendable.
He thrives on challenges, constantly seeking new ways to create tangible benefits for marginalized and impoverished sectors of the economy.
His work extends to covering four Polynesian countries, namely Samoa, Cook Islands, Niue, and Tokelau.
🇼🇸 Apart from his professional accomplishments, Filifilia’s personal journey is equally impressive.
Hailing from the beautiful village of Falelatai, Samoa, he holds the chiefly title of “Lilomaiava.” His life has taken him to various corners of the globe, including Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and beyond, as he has embarked on official missions and personal adventures.
