Shayak Mazumder Sir Vision: Simple, Powerful AI for Everyone

Some people leave a strong impression the very first time you interact with them.
I first met Shayak Mazumder sir virtually a few years ago during a panel discussion at the E-Log Asia Summit, hosted by Max Henry and the Global Supply Chain Council (GSCC).

At that time he was the CEO & Co-Founder of Eunimart, and what stood out immediately was his clarity of thought and structured approach to problem solving.

We later met in person while I was representing Hyphen SCS at the TiE Global Summit (TGS) hosted by TiE Hyderabad, and most recently again at the India AI Impact Summit 2026.

Very few people combine clarity, conviction and execution the way Shayak Mazumder sir does.

Today, as the CEO of Adya, he is building what I personally consider one of the most advanced yet practical AI platforms emerging from India.

Through platforms like ATMA and Vanij, Adya enables organizations to build and deploy AI-driven applications across domains such as retail, finance, insurance, education, and jobs — deployable across multiple clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and digital commerce networks like ONDC.

What impressed me most is the balance between sophistication and usability.
Adya’s ADI (Adya Deep Intelligence) models are often 20–40x more economical than traditional LLM deployments, while supporting powerful multi-agent workflows for cataloguing, search, inventory management, logistics, pricing, customer support and more.

Platforms like these can dramatically lower the barriers to AI adoption.
It is not just about large enterprises anymore.

Solutions like Adya can empower SMEs, startups, and even universities, making AI affordable, easy to deploy, and usable for the long tail of businesses and institutions.

During the summit, Shayak Mazumder sir also gave a live demonstration of the platform to students from my alma mater Sainik School Sujanpur Tira, while guiding them through the First Principles approach to problem solving — encouraging them to break problems down to their fundamentals and rebuild solutions from the ground up.

Personally, interacting with him always carries an added sense of respect. His Indian Navy background as a Lieutenant Commander and my Sainik School roots, create an instant bond built on discipline, service, and purpose.

Encouraging to see advanced yet easy-to-implement AI platforms coming out of India — with the power to democratize AI for the long tail.
