Under his leadership, TCS evolved from a $400 million company with 6000 employees to one of the world’s largest software and services companies, boasting over 200,000 employees across 42 countries and revenues exceeding $20 billion. š
As the Adviser to the Prime Minister of India in the National Council on Skill Development, he played a pivotal role in shaping the country’s skilling initiatives.
His leadership as the Chairman of NSDA/NSDC marked a significant milestone in standardizing skilling efforts, ensuring quality benchmarks, fostering collaboration, and aligning outcomes in India, all powered by technology. š
Currently, he chairs the transformative mission ‘Karmayogi Bharat,’ the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building.
