Breaking Barriers and Making Waves: Hyphen SCS Triumphs at the Wharton India Startup Challenge 2024!

I’m thrilled to share the exciting news that Hyphen SCS, India’s fastest-growing warehousing and fulfillment platform, emerged victorious at the Wharton India Startup Challenge at the Wharton India Economic Forum!

Our journey has been nothing short of extraordinary, with Hyphen SCS consistently securing recognition among the top early-stage startups in India.

From YourStory Media Tech 30 to TiE TGS 100, Leaders of Tomorrow on ET Now Stanford Seed Spark, Leap to Unicorn, and more – our commitment to excellence has shone through.

While we’ve celebrated multiple Top 30, Top 20, Top 5, and even Top 4 positions, the hunger for that coveted 1st place has always driven us.

As a B2B business in the so-called non-sexy warehousing and fulfillment vertical, we felt a little neglected in an era dominated by B2C, D2C, SAAS, and “AI” startups.

But guess what? We’ve proven the skeptics wrong!

This win isn’t just a triumph for the incredible team and supporters at Hyphen SCS; it’s a victory for all B2B startups navigating the startup landscape with exceptional business fundamentals.

Our success challenges stereotypes and paves the way for others to do outstanding work.

I want to express my deep gratitude to Asish Mohapatra, co-founder of OfBusiness, who once said

” Our business is not a sexy business but it is a business that can be scaled and that too profitably” which has been a guiding light.

Special thanks to the esteemed Judges :
Tarun Davda MD Matrix Partners India
Manasi Shah VP Accel
Richa Bajpai Founder Campus Fund
Neha Agrawal Head Venture Investments HDFC Bank

for their amazing insights, constructive feedback, and for raising some critical questions that need further introspection.

I would also like to thank Aditi SharmaWestBridge Capital, and past winner Shayak Mazumder, CEO Eunimart for their valuable feedback in refining our pitch.

Its also an honour to carry on the YourStory Tech30 tradition from previous years’ winners, Nikunj Malpani & Pratik Lodha from NeoDocs (YC S21) and Dishant Sanghvi co-founder WYLD.

I would also like to pay my regards to the other finalists Infloso | AI Virality Engine , Assert AI , BabyG App | Awarded Google Best of 2022 , DermaQ , FinFloh , Okulo Aerospace , Sputnik Brain , Livofy TechEagle Innovations , Happy60plus Pvt Ltd and Novechon.

I must confess that not only I have learned a lot but I have also been inspired by the great work done by all of you.

Thank you Shreeya Bhutani , Heena Dabke , Tanika Mehra & Simran Ahuja for being an amazing host.

This win is a collective effort, and we’re excited to continue pushing boundaries, creating value, and leaving an indelible mark on the B2B startup landscape!
