🌍🤝 Honored to have represented Hyphen SCS at the G20 Standards Dialogue 2023! 🇮🇳

As a delegate at this prestigious event, hosted under the banner of India’s G20 presidency, I had the privilege of participating in critical discussions about the role of standards in achieving sustainability goals.

🗓️ On November 2-3, 2023, the iconic Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, India, was the backdrop for this momentous event, organized by the Bureau of Indian Standards in collaboration with the Ministry Of Consumer Affairs, Food And Public Distribution and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

The G20 India Standards Dialogue 2023 brought together a diverse group of stakeholders, including representatives from G20 member countries, World standards cooperation, and other invitees like IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) , ISO – International Organization for Standardization and the International Telecommunication Union.

The focus was on exploring how sustainability can be addressed through inclusive standardization and good regulatory practices, with the overarching goal of achieving ‘Zero Defect and Zero Effect.’

🌐 The event provided a platform for industry leaders, government officials, standards professionals, regulators, and policymakers to collaborate and drive progress in the field of standardization and global regulatory practices.

It was inspiring to witness a shared commitment to the G20’s vision of
‘One Earth, One Family, One Future,’ and how this vision can be realized through the foundation built by standards.

🌱 The discussions at the G20 Standards Dialogue 2023 revolved around sustainability, regulatory excellence, stakeholder engagement, and the shaping of the standards of tomorrow.

It is evident that standards play a crucial role in building a sustainable and equitable future for all.

I’m grateful for this opportunity to witness these important conversations and look forward to continuing the work towards a more sustainable and inclusive world.
