It was a pleasure to interact with Udi Peretz, founder of Solveat, and learn more about their unique startup while representing Hyphen SCS at Mass Challenge Israel!

SOLVEAT develops Functional Foods – medicinal and disease-preventive foods, enriched with active ingredients from medicinal plants.

Initially, they are focusing on products for pre-diabetics that lower blood sugar levels.

They have developed a unique composition, introducing active ingredients into foods without compromising taste.

They have made chocolate enriched with medicinal herbs and tested it with 12 pre-diabetic volunteers, showing a significant reduction of up to 31% in blood sugar levels.

Their team includes leading Western and Chinese scientists and physicians, and operations, biotechnology, and business development management.

They are in the process of fund-raising, for further development and clinical proof.
