Gratitude Post: Meeting My Mentor Richard Rekhy Sir at Horasis India Meeting, Athens.

It is moments like these that make me reflect on how blessed I have been in my journey as an entrepreneur.

I recently had the incredible honor of meeting my mentor, Richard Rekhy Sir, once again, this time at the Horasis India Meeting in Athens, Greece.
The universe seems to have a way of aligning paths, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I was fortunate to receive Richard Sir’s invaluable guidance when I was just starting to build Hyphen SCS through the mentorship program at Young Leaders Council AIMA , where he is a distinguished mentor and also serves on the Board of Governors of the Management and Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC) at All India Management Association (AIMA) .

As an early-stage founder, with no recognition or presence in the warehousing and fulfillment industry, Richard Sir generously shared his time and wisdom with me, something I will always treasure.

He instilled belief, offered encouragement, and provided a roadmap—hallmarks of a truly great mentor.

Our paths crossed again during an in-person masterclass at AIMA YLC, followed by another encounter at the Horasis India Meeting in Adelaide.

Most recently, I had the privilege of sitting on a panel at the Horasis India Meeting in Athens, where Richard Sir was the moderator.

It was a full-circle moment for me—being able to share the stage with someone who played such a key role in my formative years as an entrepreneur.

Richard Rekhy Sir is a Board Member of KPMG Dubai and the former CEO of KPMG in India, where he was a member of the Global Board and the Council of KPMG International.

He’s been more than a mentor—he’s a guide, an encourager, and someone who truly embodies leadership through service.

Thank you, Richard Sir, for being a constant source of guidance and encouragement.
You’ve truly shaped not just my professional journey but also my approach to leadership and mentorship.
