The first person I always look forward to meeting at any Horasis India Meeting is none other than my big brother, Col. Samrendra Mohan Kumar (Sam).
He’s been cheering for Hyphen SCS and me since the day he learned about our mission, and his unwavering support has meant the world to me. 🙏

The fact that he, like me, comes from a Tier 2 city, is an entrepreneur, and has a defense background deepens our bond even further.
His journey from a small village in Bihar to becoming a decorated army officer, earning the prestigious Sword of Honour and President’s Gold Medal, is truly inspirational.
Despite limited resources and education, he overcame his insecurities at the National Defence Academy, and through sheer hard work, went on to command the passing-out parade.
Today, he leads MitKat Advisory, a leading Asian risk consultancy that de-risks businesses and protects people, assets, and brands across the globe.
When he left the army, India faced the 26/11 attacks, and the security sector was dominated by foreign players. He took it upon himself to change that. He built MitKat with a deep understanding of India and Asia, ensuring their security solutions are not only proactive but also business-relevant and employee-friendly. 🌍
