There are times in life when you should relax your guard.
I am grateful to Alakananda Ghosh, General Manager Anudip Foundation often known as
” Alexa ” or “Alaakaa – Naanda “, for allowing me to be a child again while representing India and Hyphen SCS during CSC2023 – The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conference – Canada 2023.

I am largely constrained by the assumption that I must be in charge and care for everyone while frequently neglecting myself.

But after a long time, I felt like a small, carefree brother being looked after and pampered by a mature sister during the three weeks we spent together.

Everything from checking up on me to ensuring that I get a vegan meal.

From comprehending the Indian context in relation to global concerns to defending my frequently frank and non-diplomatic stances on certain contentious topics of discussion.

I was pleasantly surprised by your ability to engage seamlessly with the young and the old, the serious and the funny ones, the anxious and the carefree.

I was inspired to see that you lived life queen-size.
Being courageous and ready to make mistakes without any regrets.
Being Victorious and not a victim
Being Focused and not Fearing the Unknown
Being Divine and not defining themselves by limitations

You lived in the moment, making sure you didn’t miss enjoying and making memories despite the extremely hectic schedule.

I consider myself exceedingly fortunate and glad to have you by my side Alakananda Ghosh , Didi!
