Arun Pandit ® (Co-founder) and Prikshit Verma (Growth – Lead) represented Team Hyphen SCS at the All India Transporters Welfare Association Highway Heroes + launch ceremony at the India Habitat Centre.
Launched on 14th September 2023, with a grand celebration, All India Transporters Welfare Association’s Highway Heroes+ powered by Lawyered through the hands of Smt Sumita Dawra, Spl Secretary Logistics, Shri Madhusudan Agarwal, Hon Consul General of Uganda, Shri Susheel Gupta, General Secretary Sewa Bharti Delhi and many other dignitaries
This initiative aims to provide HH+ cards which give a 5L accident insurance, 1.5L hospitalization due to accident, access to a 24×7 professional helpline of LOTS24x7 (On Road Legal Assistance), up to 25k zero processing fee/zero interest credit limit – all this at a nominal cost
A record no of 10,000 cards have been committed on launch by various transport companies & and some corporates at AITWA Highway Heroes+
IDFC FIRST Bank has partnered to provide education support to girl children of truck drivers from 9th to 12th std through HH+ support
A video was shared about the immense work done by AITWA with the help of supporters throughout the Covid period including CEAT Limited , RPG Foundation , Eicher Trucks and Buses ,National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) , Lenskart.com , Ajanta Pharma LtdShriram Finance Limited , Indian Oil Corp Limited , Banbury Exports, Lions Clubs International and many more
India’s first women driver, Smt Yogita Raghuvanshi was honored at the event for her bravery and dedication to the profession encouraging more women. She highlighted the difficulties faced on highways due to unlimited corruption!
All India Transporters Welfare Association announced that all women truck drivers will be given HH+ cards free of cost and Smt Yogita was the first such driver to receive hers!
All India Transporters Welfare Association is in talks with several corporates who wish to provide facilities, support & and schemes for our Highway Heroes which shall be easily disseminated through their network!
