Kaagaz ke Mahal : I must confess that its after a very long time that I have bought a Hindi book . Poems and Shayaari as a genre had been ruled by the legends like Ghalib , Faiz , Gulzar ji etc . The genre was dominated by Urdu writers and almost negligible contribution from the new era . I am glad to see that Mr Ravi Kumar has given hope to this evergreen yet aging genre . The poems and Shayaaris shared have a unique sense of connectivity with your soul . Reading the book seems like reliving the sad and happy experiences of your life . I felt that a lot of my life incidents and emotions where put to words perfectly by Mr Ravi . It basically takes you down memory lanes in words which are easy to understand and does not require a dictionary to comprehend . The words touches your heart . Sometimes it makes you happy and sometimes it makes you drop a tear . Sometimes it teaches you lessons and sometimes it just shows you that life is wonderful despite the chaos . The book is free flowing in nature , you just keep reading it effortlessly like a long drive on a highway on a full moon night . This book is full of human stories and emotions that everyone can relate with . So if you want to relive memories in a peaceful poetic way then go grab a copy . Highly recommended .
