Meeting Ranj Pillai Premier Yukon Canada
Meeting Ranj Pillai Premier Yukon Canada
It was an incredible honor to meet Ranj Pillai sir, Premier of the Yukon Province and only the second Indo-Canadian in Canadian history to become Premier of a province or territory.
I was moved by the strong and close-knit community he has established in the stunning Yukon.
I heard numerous accounts from people we engaged with about how approachable and profoundly connected he was to the public. You may receive an unexpected contact from him, in which he will be open to comments and feedback on resolving urgent societal issues.
His ability to bring together several first nations and the federal government to achieve a better Yukon is impressive.
I could see the enthusiasm, energy, and, most significantly, the true desire with which he concentrated on health, housing, renewable energy, job creation, and self-sufficiency in a province where the sun rarely sets and temperatures drop to – 60 C.
Thank you very much, sir, for your valuable time and sharing the lessons learned while working in the private and public sectors, as well as the viewpoint and problem-solving skill set you developed when participating in a similar study group like CSC2023 – The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conference – Canada 2023.
Thank you for hearing out what we are building at Hyphen SCS and also sharing your thoughts on how the community is focused on startups creating value, not necessarily valuations, as the important thread of the community .
I am convinced that Yukon would be North of the ordinary under your leadership!
Premier: Head of Government – Chief Minister equivalent in India
