It was an absolute pleasure to interact and learn from Soham Chokshi, CEO and Co-founder at Shipsy as part of the Velocity masterclass hosted by Karan Kumar from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in association with Delhivery and Nexus Venture Partners .

I was impressed by his humility in sharing his key mistakes and the common pitfalls and scenarios faced by early-stage founders.

He talked about the roles of anchor clients and the challenges of coming up with a common road map that fulfills both the client and the startup.

He also focused on avoiding too much delay in GTM due to excessive time spent perfecting the product.

He talked about the various pricing models and the role of multiple modules in driving revenues.

He laid special emphasis on sales as a critical skill required by founders for raising investment, hiring, and gaining clients.

He also talked about the role of advisors and mentors and how to maximize their potential to create value for your startup.

He also shared his learnings on how to select relevant marketing channels and events for client acquisition and brand building.

These were a few key insights and learnings from the interaction.
